Fort Hall played an important role in the settlement of the west and is a wonderful destination to visit now! This is true not only because of its unique role in Oregon and California trail history but also because of the thriving culture of the Shoshone-Bannock reservation. Lewis and Clark enthusiasts, outdoor and adventure seekers, and native culture buffs will enjoy visiting this historic place especially during their festival in August.
