The Ancestral Link Between America and Europe

There is a clear and definite connection between Europe and the United States and Canada that goes back to the earliest settlements in the New World. Excluding of course Native Americans, Europeans were the ones to first colonize and develop these areas, and much of the culture that is now the United States and Canada, from the religions, legal system, language and other parts of our society can be traced back to its European origins.
