Visiting Thailand for the Thai New Year (Songkran) - A Few Do's and Do Not's!

Songkran (Thai New Year) usually goes on for about a week building up to a grand finale during April but it does run on different dates depending on where in Thailand you are thinking of visiting. I was fortunate to arrive in Pattaya about half way through (unfortunate in my case) because as soon as I got out of the taxi I was greeted with a hose pipe & a bag of powder & that was just the start!
